Dancers and Nutrition

Let's face it. If you are overweight, or politically incorrct FAT, then you should lose
some weight. Dancers are dedicated to the class below, running left, so
of course, are thinner than most people. But not very young students who are in the age group between 7-14. Yes, there are many in this group who are fat, overweight and simple
FAT.

There are about 3500 calories in a pound of body fat. Thus, if a 3500-calorie deficitby diet, exercise or a combination of both, you lose a pound of body weight. To lose 2 pounds of weight, a calorie deficit of 7000 calories, and so on .....

Easier said than done. Good eating habits help to lose weight. It helps the dancer to get the energy to dance. So, what is the magic formula, you ask? There is no! As a dancer,
, The one-and-only-a-way, to find to keep in shape. If you are 7 or 8 or 13 years you can
I do not know howBut your parents can help if they know anything, what a dancer needs in this age group. Otherwise, there are many resources, books, food scientists, friends who speak it, to find all the information necessary for the dancer would be able to.

Over the years as a ballet teacher, my wife Anna and I love children of all ages, shapes and sizes, have thin, too thin, thick, plump, and saw in the dance class. And while all grow making great progress in their dance training, somegirls want to lose weight, others do not.
Those who are in a particular age, weight, height, physical strength to get those that have (a term used in the entertainment world) a better chance to "cut" at an audition.
Are no other ones that come in a dance group.

So please dancers in the future, try to learn more about nutrition. I look forward to know what is really good for you and hopefully help you dance better.
